One page, held up to the light

p.149ch.5 ↗

page 149 of why's (poignant) Guide to Ruby. Dr. Cham and the goat test Ruby in irb, and the text introduces the MindReader and WishMaker classes.

At the bottom of the page, three handwritten notes. In pink pen: "Remember to always have fun and not to take it this seriously. Regards, Yara Debian", with a smiley. In purple pen, a drawing of a sitting cat with a big speech bubble: "Hi I'm Yara's cat, Touti. I am a big fan of Ruby like the cats of this book!". Below it, also in purple: "Love the initiative behind it, it brings people together and you get a piece of everyone who touched Ruby in their lives.", with a small heart.

Yara Debian brought three pens and a cat.

In pink:

Remember to always have fun and not to take it this seriously. Regards, Yara Debian :)

@yara_debian

The cat, in purple:

> Hi I'm Yara's cat, Touti. I am a big fan of Ruby like the cats of this book!

And:

> Love the initiative behind it, it brings people together and you get a piece of everyone who touched Ruby in their lives. <3

Touti.fan_of?(:ruby) # => true

The foxes sat next to Touti. Nobody spoke.
