One page, held up to the light

p.159ch.6 ↗

page 159 of why's (poignant) Guide to Ruby. A code block requires open-uri and opens "http://preeventualist.org/lost/searchfound?q=truck", then puts truck.read.

Across the bottom right of the code block, a handwritten note in pink pen, written at a slant: "Keep it encapsulated! Nick", with a little sun.

Page 159. A bare open() call searches the lost and found for the tall fox's truck. Code, just lying around in the open.

@apotonick saw it and wrote in pink:

Keep it encapsulated! Nick

@apotonick

Nick made Trailblazer, so of course. Wrap it up:

class Truck::Find < Trailblazer::Operation step :search end

The foxes still haven't found the truck. But the search has a proper home now. With an IPA and a nap schedule.

  1. Nobody has replied yet. The fox is waiting. Foxes are very good at waiting.
